hh.ru extension · v0.1.2
job-xray shows total responses, the unread pile, true vacancy age and bumps — in search and on the vacancy page. No account, no servers, nothing leaves your browser.
Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi and Yandex Browser
This is how the badges look on hh.ru — in search and on the vacancy page.
The same numbers hh.ru already puts on the page — just visible.
Every search card shows how many people already applied. Badge colour tells you how hot the listing is.
How many applications the employer has not triaged yet. Zero often means they already looked — or the listing is a zombie.
Counted from the creation date, not the last bump. Otherwise an old vacancy looks like hundreds of applications “today”.
Creation date plus a “bumped” flag when publication is newer than creation. A fresh-looking card can be months old.
On the vacancy page: Standard / Optimum / Premium, a paid search boost, neural screening, tests, and a required cover letter.
The extension reads the hh.ru page already in the tab. No account, no analytics, no background requests.
Three steps, no sign-up.
One Chromium build for Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi and Yandex Browser. A separate .xpi for Firefox.
Chromium: developer mode and “Load unpacked”. Firefox: the .xpi file or a temporary add-on load.
Badges appear on search and vacancy pages by themselves. Nothing to configure.
The response badge is coloured by count, pace and age. A hint, not a verdict.
Few applications, listing is fresh. Worth applying without rushing.
A noticeable queue, or the vacancy is no longer in its first week. The letter matters more than the apply button.
Very many applications or a heavy daily flow. Think twice before burning the daily limit.
Old listing, empty unread queue. Either they cleared the pile, or the vacancy is just sitting there.
A tool for people who apply themselves — not a bot that applies for them.
You do not have to open every vacancy blind. Competition is visible in the search list.
hh.ru shows the last bump date. job-xray counts days from creation.
MIT, source on GitHub. You can read exactly what is taken from the page.
Badges live in Shadow DOM. No extra HeadHunter requests and no hijacking of Apply.
These URLs always point at the current GitHub Release. Right now that is v0.1.2.

Not listed on the Chrome Web Store or addons.mozilla.org yet — install the GitHub package. Safari is not built.
Yes. Open source, MIT licence. No account, no subscription, no trial.
No. job-xray does not send data to its own servers and has no backend. Everything is computed in your hh.ru tab.
hh.ru keeps several counters, and they drift on old, repeatedly bumped vacancies. When they disagree a lot, we show the alternate count and mark the number as approximate.
No. The counters live in the page payload without auth. The unread queue is available on search results.
Not yet — Safari needs a separate Xcode wrapper. Chromium browsers and Firefox 140+ are supported.
No. The extension never submits on your behalf, never fills forms, and never clicks Apply. It only surfaces hidden numbers.
Install job-xray and stop opening vacancies blind.
